Cisco lists the C1300-24FP-4G as a Catalyst 1300 switch with 28 gigabit ports: 24 RJ-45 10/100/1000 ports, all PoE+ capable at 30 W, and four gigabit SFP uplinks. It supports 802.3af and 802.3at and ships with 19-inch rack-mount brackets. Console access is by RJ-45 or a USB Type C port.
Switching is wire-speed and nonblocking at 56 Gbps with a forwarding rate of 41.67 Mpps for 64-byte packets. Cisco gives a 16,000-entry MAC table, up to 1024 ACL rules, a 1.5 MB shared packet buffer, an ARM dual-core 1.5 GHz CPU, 1 GB of DDR4 DRAM and 1 GB of SLC flash.
The internal universal supply takes 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz. Worst-case system power with PoE is 452.3 W at 110 V and 436.9 W at 220 V, idle power is 21.7 W at 110 V and heat dissipation is 1542.3 BTU/hr. One fan cools it at 39 dBA at 25 C. It measures 444.3 x 350 x 43.94 mm (17.49 x 13.78 x 1.73 in), weighs 4.6 kg (10.14 lb), and operates at -5 to 50 C.
Compared with the C1300-24FP-4X, it has 1G SFP uplinks in place of 10G SFP+, switches 56 Gbps against 128 Gbps, forwards 41.67 Mpps against 95.23 Mpps and weighs 4.6 kg against 4.92 kg. The C1300-24P-4G has the same ports and switching, with a smaller 195 W PoE budget, 299 mm depth and no fan.
