N9K-C92160YC-X is the Cisco Nexus 92160YC-X, a one-rack-unit NX-OS mode switch with 48 x 10/25G SFP+ downlink ports (each set to 1, 10 or 25G) and six QSFP28 uplink ports (49 to 54) that run at 40G or 100G. It also has two network management ports, one RJ-45 and one SFP, an RS-232 console port and a USB port.
Uplinks work in two modes from NX-OS 7.0(3)I3(1) onward. Mode 1, the default, gives four 40G and two 100G uplinks. Mode 2 gives four 100G uplinks, with breakout supported on ports 50, 51 and 52.
Four field-replaceable fan modules cool the switch, in port-side intake (NXA-FAN-30CFM-B) or port-side exhaust (NXA-FAN-30CFM-F). Two power supply modules give 1+1 redundancy: 650 W AC (NXA-PAC-650W-PI intake or NXA-PAC-650W-PE exhaust), 930 W DC (NXA-PDC-930W-PI or NXA-PDC-930W-PE) or the 1200 W HVAC/HVDC N9K-PUV-1200W. Both supplies must be the same type, and fans and supplies must all use the same airflow direction.
Cisco announced end-of-sale on March 5, 2020; the end-of-sale date is March 5, 2021 and the last date of support is March 31, 2026. The last ship date was June 4, 2021, and Cisco recommends the Nexus 9300-EX and 9300-FX Series as the migration path.
Other Nexus 9300 switches are in the Cisco switches category, including the Nexus 93180YC-EX and the Nexus 93180YC-FX.
