C1300-8FP-2G is a Cisco Catalyst 1300 switch with ten Gigabit Ethernet ports: eight RJ-45 ports that are all PoE-capable and two combo ports that pair an RJ-45 with an SFP slot. Only one port in each combo pair is active at a time, and the model has no 10G ports.
The PoE budget is 120 W across the eight ports, each of which supports 30 W PoE+. The switch supports 802.3at and 802.3af. Power comes from an internal universal supply rated 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz.
Cisco rates switching capacity at 20 Gbps and the forwarding rate at 14.88 Mpps for 64-byte packets, and calls the switches wire-speed and nonblocking. The packet buffer is 1.5 MB shared across all ports, the flash is 1 GB, and the MAC table holds 16,000 addresses.
The 8FP-2G is fanless with an MTBF of 2,865,360 hours at 25 C. It measures 268 x 297 x 43.94 mm (10.55 x 11.71 x 1.73 in) and weighs 3.05 kg (6.72 lb). The compact rack bracket RCKMNT-CMPCT-1K= for 8-, 12- and 16-port models is sold separately.
