ICX7750-48F is the RUCKUS ICX 7750-48F, a 1U aggregation and core switch with 48 1/10 GbE SFP+ ports and six fixed 40 GbE QSFP+ ports, each of which can be split into four 10 GbE SFP+ ports. It has one modular slot for the ICX7750-6Q, a 6-port 40 GbE QSFP module. The bare switch ships with no power supplies, fan units or optics, which are ordered separately.
Switching capacity is 1.92 Tbps and forwarding capacity is 1.44 Bpps, with 550 ns latency, a 12.2 MB dynamic packet buffer, 8 GB of DRAM and 2 GB of flash. Up to 12 switches stack over 40 GbE QSFP+ ports at 5.76 Tbps, up to 10 km apart, and the switch can act as the Fabric Control Bridge in Campus Fabric. Advanced Layer 3 (OSPF, BGP, PIM, PBR, VRF) needs the ICX7750-L3-COE Certificate of Entitlement.
The 500 W AC supplies are RPS9+I (power-supply-side intake) and RPS9+E (power-supply-side exhaust), and a unit is rated for two. Typical power use is 250 W and the maximum is 327 W. With two supplies, four fans and the 6-port module, and no transceivers, the switch weighs 9.08 kg. It measures 440 x 406.4 x 43.6 mm and makes 62 dBA at 25 C.
