ICX6610-48 is the Brocade ICX 6610-48, a 48-port 10/100/1000 Mbps stackable switch with no PoE, eight dual-mode 1/10 GbE SFP/SFP+ ports (10 GbE needs an optional upgrade license) and four 40 GbE QSFP stacking ports. Switching capacity is 576 Gbps and forwarding capacity is 432 Mpps at wire speed. Up to eight units stack at 1,280 Gbps, with 150 m between units in long-distance stacking.
Four versions are ordered: ICX6610-48-E and ICX6610-48-PE with power-supply-side exhaust airflow, and ICX6610-48-I and ICX6610-48-PI with intake airflow. The -PE and -PI versions carry premium software and the -E and -I versions base software. Each includes a 250 W power supply and a hot-swappable fan assembly, and up to two supplies can be fitted (two fans are required with two supplies).
The supply is the RPS15-E or RPS15-I (250 W, non-PoE), and the fans are ICX6610-FAN-E and ICX6610-FAN-I. Without PoE the switch draws 165 W on one supply and 185 W on two. The 1U unit measures 429 x 406.4 x 44 mm, weighs 6.78 kg with one supply and one fan tray, and has an MTBF of 408,144 hours at 25 C.
