IR1101-A-K9 Cisco Catalyst IR1101 Rugged Router, Advantage

IR1101-A-K9 is the Cisco Catalyst IR1101 Rugged Series Router supplied with the SL-IR1101-NA Network Advantage software licence. Network Advantage adds Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), mobile IP for migration between networks and application-aware QoS policies over the Network Essentials tier, and it also entitles users to Cisco Edge Intelligence from EI Release 2.0. The Network Essentials version is IR1101-K9, and the Essentials-to-Advantage upgrade licence is SL-IR1101-NA=.

The base platform has four 10/100BASE-T Fast Ethernet LAN ports, a combo 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet WAN port (RJ-45 and SFP), a mini type-B USB console, an alarm input port and a modular slot for cellular (LTE, LTE-Advanced, 5G) modules. An isolated RS-232 RJ-45 DTE serial port runs asynchronous at up to 115,200 baud for SCADA, DNP3, T101-104, raw socket TCP and UDP traffic.

Power input is 9.6 to 60 V DC (nominal plus or minus 12 V to 48 V DC) at up to 1.24 A at 9.6 V DC. Power consumption is 6.6 W at idle, 9.8 W typical and 12 W at maximum. The router is IP30 rated, mounts on a panel, wall or DIN rail in a vertical or horizontal orientation, and operates from -40 to 60 C in a NEMA cabinet with no airflow. It runs the universal Cisco IOS XE image, Release 16.10.1 or later.

The chassis measures 2.36 x 5.22 x 4.92 in (60 x 132.5 x 124.9 mm) and weighs 2.25 lb (1.02 kg). Expansion modules add serial and Ethernet ports, SFP ports or GPIO, and a second cellular module provides dual active LTE for WAN redundancy.

The Network Essentials IR1101-K9 has the same hardware with the SL-IR1101-NE licence.
