IBM #AGSA is the 4.8TB FlashCore Module 3 for the IBM FlashSystem 5200 (4662), which covers models 6H2 and UH6. One #AGSA provides one NVMe FlashCore Module.
The quantity rules for #AGSA are a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 12, and 12 is also the initial order maximum. The limit of 12 is counted across every FCM drive feature on the system, that is features AGSx and AGTx added together, so an #AGSA counts against the same total as the other FlashCore Module capacity sizes.
Compression of 3:1 is supported with the appropriate workloads. Because this is a generation 3 module, it must not share a RAID array with the previous generation of FCM drives, features AGS5, AGS6, AGS7 and AGS8.
Customer setup is Yes for #AGSA, so the customer installs the module. The feature is plant and field installable, which means it can be specified on an initial machine order or added to a system that is already installed. It applies to models 6H2 and UH6 of the FlashSystem 5200 alike.
