IBM feature #AC95 is the 800GB 2.5 Inch Flash Drive for the IBM Storwize V5000, machine type 2078, in the SFF control enclosure Model 24C and the SFF expansion enclosure Model 24E. It is a 12 Gb SAS 2.5-inch flash (solid state) drive and is installed at the plant or in the field.
The drive is dual-port and hot-swappable. It supports a 12 Gb per second data transfer rate but operates at up to 6 Gb per second when installed in Storwize V5000 and V7000 systems. Storwize V5000 needs IBM Storwize Family Software for Storwize V5000 version 7.1 or later for the drive.
Its siblings on the same machine type are #AC93 (200 GB) and #AC94 (400 GB). The 800 GB drive in the 2077 machine type is feature #AC85. The 600 GB 15,000 rpm 12 Gb SAS drives #AC52 (2.5-inch) and #AC11 (3.5-inch) arrived with it on the same machine type.
