The 375816-001 is a spare power supply for the card cage expansion module of the HP StorageWorks Enterprise Modular Library (EML) E-Series, a retired legacy HPE EML tape library. It is a redundant, hot-swappable supply in a 3U x 8HP size with two LEDs, and it provides up to 150 W to the card cage. Input is 100-240 VAC at 3.0 A and 47/63 Hz.

The supply sits at the bottom of the card cage expansion module, a 4U chassis with 48 permanent LTO slots. The module has six PCI card slots for extra e2400-FC 2G interface controllers, with one controller added for every four additional tape drives, and two cooling fans on the right. In a 24U library the module sits directly below the 8U tape drive expansion module. The Model 245e uses that layout, with 245 LTO slots (230 permanent and 15 configurable) and up to eight tape drives.

A green PWR GOOD LED means all DC outputs and the AC input are within operational limits. An amber FAULT LED means a DC output or the AC input is out of limits, which can point to a power cord that is not fully seated at either end or to the main library power switch being turned off. Power cords from the card cage expansion unit go to PDU power strips, and with a second PDU installed each cord goes to a strip on a separate PDU for AC redundancy.

To replace the supply, loosen the captive screws in the black ejector handle and the screw at the other end with a #1 Phillips screwdriver, then pull the supply out of its slot; it can be hot. Hold the new supply with its ejector handle on the left, slide it into the card cage slot and tighten the ejector handle screw and the mounting screw on the other end.
