4XB7A10239 (feature code B48A) is the ThinkSystem 2.5-inch 5200 960GB Mainstream SATA 6Gb hot-swap SSD. The 5200 Mainstream drives pair Micron 64-layer triple-level cell 3D NAND with a 6 Gbps SATA host interface and target mixed read and write workloads, with endurance between 2.5 and 5 drive writes per day across the family.
At 960GB the drive reaches 95,000 random read IOPS and 75,000 random write IOPS with 4 KB blocks, plus 540 MBps sequential read and 520 MBps sequential write with 128 KB blocks. Sequential read latency is 200 µs and sequential write latency is 300 µs. Typical power is 2.8 W reading and 3.4 W writing.
This capacity carries the 5.0 DWPD endurance level, with 8,760 TB total bytes written and an MTBF of 3,000,000 hours, and data reliability is better than 1 unrecoverable error in 10^17 bits read. Shock tolerance when not operating is 1,500 G at 0.5 ms, and non-operating vibration is 3.13 G RMS from 5 to 800 Hz. The drive supports S.M.A.R.T. reporting and AES 256-bit encryption. For a 960GB SATA drive from a newer family, see the ThinkSystem 2.5-inch 5300 960GB, 4XB7A17089, or browse more Lenovo SSDs.
