4XB7A90100 (feature code BXMA) is the ThinkSystem 2.5" U.2 PM9A3 1.92TB Read Intensive NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 hot-swap SSD, a Samsung PM9A3 drive with the vendor part number MZQL21T9HCJR-00A07. Each drive has its own PCIe 4.0 x4 connection, which allows up to 8 GBps of throughput, and it complies with PCI Express Base Specification 4.0 and NVM Express 1.4.

The 1.92TB drive is built for 1.0 drive write per day over five years, equal to 3504 TB written. At 4 KB it reaches 850,000 random read IOPS and 130,000 random write IOPS, and at 128 KB it sustains 6800 MBps reading and 2700 MBps writing. Random latency is 80 µs on reads and 30 µs on writes, and sequential latency is 20 µs both ways. Typical power is 10.0 W reading and 12.5 W writing.

TCG Opal self-encryption, an advanced ECC engine with end-to-end data protection, power-loss protection and S.M.A.R.T. support are included. The drive body is 7 mm high, 70 mm wide and 100 mm deep without the tray and weighs up to 90 g. Non-operating shock is 1,500 G for 0.5 ms.
