4XB7A93122 (feature code C0ZV) is the ThinkSystem 2.5" U.2 VA 1.92TB Read Intensive NVMe PCIe 5.0 x4 HS SSD. VA stands for Vendor Agnostic, so the drive is sourced from several SSD vendors, and it is self-encrypting with TCG Opal or TCG Enterprise. Each drive connects over PCIe 5.0 x4, and the family also runs at PCIe 4.0 x4.
Endurance is 1 drive write per day for five years, 3,504 TB written. On a PCIe 5.0 link the minimum figures for this capacity are 1,440,000 random read IOPS and 135,000 random write IOPS at 4 KB, plus 10,800 MBps sequential reads and 3150 MBps sequential writes at 128 KB. The reliability target is under one unrecoverable bit error in 10^17 bits read, MTBF is 2,000,000 hours, and non-operating vibration is 2.17 G RMS from 5 to 700 Hz.
The design adds power-loss protection, an advanced ECC engine, end-to-end data protection and S.M.A.R.T. reporting. Without its tray the drive is 70 mm by 100 mm and either 7 mm or 15 mm high.
The drive is supported in the ThinkSystem SR630 V3, SR650 V3, SR635 V3, SR645 V3, SR655 V3, SR665 V3, SR675 V3, SR850 V3, SR860 V3, SD535 V3, SR680a V4 and the V4 models SR630, SR650, SR650a, SR850 and SR860. Larger PCIe 5.0 drives in the range are 4XB7A93123 (3.84TB, C0ZU), 4XB7A93124 (7.68TB, C0ZT), 4XB7A93125 (15.36TB, C0ZS) and 4XB7A93126 (30.72TB, C1W7), and the 3.5-inch version at 1.92TB is 4XB7B13984 (CFA6).
