Cisco Catalyst 9600 Series 48-Port 25G/10G/1G SFP28 Line Card

C9600-LC-48YL is a 48-port line card for the Cisco Catalyst 9600 Series, with SFP28 and SFP+ ports. With the C9600-SUP-1 it gives 48 non-blocking 25/10/1GE ports, and with the C9600X-SUP-2 it gives 48 non-blocking ports at 50/25/10/1GE. Per-slot bandwidth is 1.2 Tbps full-duplex with the SUP-1 and 3.2 Tbps full-duplex with the SUP-2.

Port maximums are 192 at 25/10GE, and 192 at 1GE with the SUP-1 against 83 with the SUP-2. Fifty-gig ports, 192 of them, need the SUP-2. Minimum software is IOS XE 16.11.1 with the SUP-1 and 17.7.1 with the SUP-2.

MACsec uses AES-256 with MACsec-256 on the UADP ASIC that comes with the SUP-1, but the C9600-LC-48YL does not support MACsec with the C9600X-SUP-2. Maximum rated power is 230 W with the SUP-1 and 300 W with the SUP-2.

The line card weighs 3.55 kg (7.83 lb) and measures 1.7 x 15.0 x 13.41 inches to the faceplate, or 15.7 inches deep to the ejector. MTBF is 640,750 hours.
