Q9H62A is the rest-of-world (RW) regional SKU of the HPE Aruba Networking AP-515, an indoor 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) campus access point with four integrated dual-band downtilt omni antennas. The US model is Q9H63A; other regional SKUs are Q9H59A (EG), Q9H60A (IL), Q9H61A (JP) and S5D86A (ID), and the TAA-compliant RW unit is Q9H72A. Order the code that matches the regulatory domain where the AP will be installed.

The 5 GHz radio is 4x4 MIMO with a maximum single-user rate of 4.8 Gbps (4SS HE160); the 2.4 GHz radio is 2x2 at up to 574 Mbps. Each radio supports up to 512 clients and 16 BSSIDs. A separate Bluetooth 5 and Zigbee (802.15.4) radio handles location and IoT devices.

Port E0 is 100/1000/2500BASE-T and takes 802.3af/at/bt PoE; E1 is 10/100/1000BASE-T, and LACP is supported across both. Maximum draw is 20.8 W on 802.3at/bt, or 13.5 W on 802.3af with Intelligent Power Monitoring, so check the switch port's PoE class before deployment. A 12 VDC input and a USB 2.0 port (up to 1 A

5 W) are also provided.

The unit measures 200 x 200 x 46 mm, weighs 810 g without the bracket, is plenum rated and operates from 0 to 50 °C. The mounting bracket comes pre-installed; mount kits are sold separately.

It can run standalone, under a gateway or from HPE Aruba Networking Central. HPE lists InstantOS 8.6.0.0 or later for unrestricted operation (8.4.0.0 with restrictions), and version 10.0.0.0 is also supported.

Nearest sibling: the AP-514 (RW: Q9H57A) has the same radios but four RP-SMA connectors for external antennas.
