IBM 00GH766 is the LTO Ultrium 7 half-height Fibre Channel drive assembly in the TS4300 Tape Library replacement-parts table. IBM's TS4300 sales manual lists feature AGKJ under machine type 3555 as the LTO-7 half-height Fibre Channel drive. IBM does not print the FRU next to the feature, so the link is by the sales-manual description. IBM lists LTO-7 at 6 TB native capacity per cartridge and a native data rate of 300 MB/s. The drive mounts in the 3555-L3A base module or an E3A expansion module, each of which holds up to three half-height drives. The SAS version of the same drive is 00GH764, so check the host interface before choosing between them. Newer half-height Fibre Channel drives in the same table are 00GH812 (LTO-8) and 02XX413 (LTO-9). IBM lists AGKJ as no longer available from June 30, 2024. To confirm fit, check that the library is a TS4300 (3555 L3A or E3A), that the host connection is Fibre Channel and that the library firmware supports the drive.
