IBM 00GH812 is the LTO Ultrium 8 half-height Fibre Channel drive assembly listed in the TS4300 Tape Library replacement-parts table. IBM's TS4300 sales manual lists feature AGKM under machine type 3555 as the LTO-8 half-height Fibre Channel drive. IBM does not print the FRU next to the feature, so the link is by the sales-manual description. IBM gives LTO-8 a native capacity of 12 TB per cartridge and a native data rate of 360 MB/s in the TS4300. The 3555-L3A base module holds up to three half-height drives or one full-height drive. Siblings in the same table are 00GH810 (LTO-8 half-height SAS), 00GH814 (LTO-8 full-height Fibre Channel), 00GH766 (LTO-7 half-height FC) and 02XX413 (LTO-9 half-height FC). IBM's TS4300 sales manual lists AGKM as no longer available for the L3A after December 31, 2026. To confirm fit, check that the library is a TS4300 (3555 L3A or E3A), that the host connection is Fibre Channel rather than SAS, and that the library firmware level supports LTO-8.
