IE-4010-16S12P is a Cisco Industrial Ethernet 4010 switch with 28 FE/GE ports: 12 SFP fibre ports, 12 copper PoE/PoE+ ports and 4 SFP uplinks. The copper ports negotiate speed and duplex at 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps.
Power supplies are sold separately, and the PoE budget depends on the combination fitted: 80 W with one 150 W supply, 200 W with two 150 W, 180 W with one 250 W, 285 W with a 250 W plus a 150 W, and 360 W with two 250 W. The supplies are the PWR-RGD-AC-DC-H and PWR-RGD-LOW-DC-H at 150 W and the PWR-RGD-AC-DC-250 at 250 W.
The 1 RU chassis is fanless and convection-cooled. With 150 W supplies it measures 1.75 x 17.5 x 14.0 in (4.45 x 44.5 x 35.6 cm), growing to 15.18 in deep with the 250 W supply, and the system weighs 12.7 lb (5.78 kg) without a supply. Cisco gives an MTBF of 415,160 hours. LAN Base is the default licence, and the L-IE4000-RTU= upgrade adds IP Services.
Cisco announced end-of-sale on September 15, 2025; the end-of-sale date is July 31, 2026 and the last date of support is July 31, 2031. Cisco names the IE-9310-16P8S4X-A and IE-9310-16P8S4X-E as replacements.
