CAB-SPWR-150CM is the 1.5 meter Catalyst 3750-X StackPower cable, the longer of the two lengths Cisco offers. It is the choice when switches sit too far apart for the 0.3 meter CAB-SPWR-30CM. The short cable is the one supplied when no length is specified, so the 1.5 meter length has to be named in the order.
It works only with Catalyst 3750-X switches. A Catalyst 3560-X reaches an XPS 2200 through a different cable family, CAB-XPS-58CM or CAB-XPS-150CM, so do not substitute this one there.
One end carries a green stripe and plugs into the first switch; the other carries a yellow stripe and plugs into a second Catalyst 3750-X for power sharing or into an XPS 2200 for redundancy. Cisco keys and colour-codes the connectors on the cable and the switch so they cannot be crossed. Ring power stacks hold up to four switches, and an XPS 2200 can serve a star of nine.
The short version is the CAB-SPWR-30CM, and compatible switches are in Cisco switches.
