DP-9871-K9 is the Cisco Desk Phone 9871 in Carbon Black. It has a 5-inch backlit color touch LCD with 1280 x 720 resolution and a wideband-capable audio handset on the RJ-9 handset port. It has no physical line keys.
Connectivity covers Bluetooth 5.2 (Low Energy, Enhanced Data Rate, Class 1) and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. An internal 2-port Cisco Ethernet switch provides 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 connections. The phone is IEEE Power over Ethernet class 3, and it has one USB-A and one USB-C port. The USB-A port delivers 0.5 A at 5 V (2.5 W) under PoE, and up to 6.5 W with the Cisco Power Adapter 3.
It supports Cisco Webex Calling, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Webex Dedicated Instance, Cisco BroadWorks, Microsoft SIP Gateway and Asterisk. The maximum is 130 SIP lines on CUCM and Webex Dedicated Instance, or 16 on Webex Calling and Open SIP platforms.
The phone measures 8.9 x 8.4 x 1.9 in. (226.0 x 214.0 x 49.4 mm) and weighs 1055 g. DP-9871-L-K9 is the First Light color, and DP-9871NR-K9 is the version without the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radio.
