PWR-C45-1400AC is the Cisco Catalyst 4500 1400W AC Power Supply (Data Only). Cisco lists it for the Catalyst 4503-E, 4506-E, 4507R-E, 4507R+E, 4510R-E and 4510R+E chassis, and it does not supply Power over Ethernet.
Input is 85 to 132 VAC at a nominal 120 VAC (low line) or 170 to 264 VAC at a nominal 230 VAC (high line), at 50/60 Hz nominal. Input current is 16 A at 120 VAC and 7 A at 240 VAC, and the maximum rating is 1.76 kVA. Cisco gives the data output as 1360 W plus 40 W in redundant mode, with 113.4 A at +12 V and 12.2 A at +3.3 V. Output holdup is 20 ms minimum and maximum heat dissipation is 1048 BTU/hr.
The minimum software is Cisco IOS Release 12.2(18)EW. A footnote adds that a Catalyst 4503-E with a Supervisor Engine II-Plus TS and this supply provides 158.4 W of PoE to the supervisor engine ports only.
The related PWR-C45-1400AC/2 is the redundant (second) supply and PWR-C45-1400AC= is the spare.
Cisco announced end-of-sale on October 31, 2019; the end-of-sale date is October 30, 2020 and the last date of support is October 31, 2025. The notice names the C9400-PWR-2100AC, the Catalyst 9400 Series 2100W AC power supply, as the replacement.
