Cisco Industrial 480W AC-to-DC Power Supply, Hardwired Input

PWR-IE480W-PCAC-L is a Cisco industrial power supply that converts AC input to 54 VDC at up to 480 W. Cisco lists it as a hardwired-input unit with PoE, PoE+ and 4PPoE support, and as conformally coated. The rated AC input is 100 to 240 V at 6 A and 50 to 60 Hz, accepted from 90 to 264 V, with inrush current under 35 A at 115 and 230 VAC and a typical efficiency of 92 percent.

The output is 54 VDC nominal, adjustable from 48 to 56 VDC, at 8.9 A and 480 W maximum, with a holdup time of 20 ms at full load. Operating temperature is -40 to +75 C and storage is -40 to +85 C. Cisco gives vertical-mounting derating of 2.5 percent per degree above 50 C and 5 percent per degree above 70 C. Humidity is 5 to 95 percent non-condensing and the ingress rating is IP20. Cisco states it is not approved for hazardous location installations.

The unit measures 144 x 121 x 118.6 mm (5.66 x 4.76 x 4.66 in), weighs 3.02 lb (1.37 kg) and has an MTBF of 1,058,750 hours under Telcordia SR-332.
