PWR-IE50W-AC-IEC is Cisco's 50 W AC-to-DC industrial power supply with a plug-in IEC 60320 C14 input. The rated input is AC 100 to 240 V, 1.25 A, 50 to 60 Hz, and the supported range is AC 90 to 264 V. Output is 24 VDC at 2.1 A, which is 50 W, with 20 ms hold-up time at full load. Typical efficiency is 80 percent.
Inrush current stays under 35 A at 115 VAC and 70 A at 230 VAC at 25 C ambient. The unit measures 51 x 118 x 148 mm (2 x 4.64 x 5.82 in) and weighs 1.43 lb (0.65 kg). It is IP20 rated, not approved for hazardous locations, and offers no PoE. Operating temperature is -20 to +70 C with no derating, and storage is -40 to +85 C.
The difference from the hardwired PWR-IE50W-AC is the input. That model is wired in rather than plugged in, also accepts DC input of 125 to 250 V, works from -40 to +75 C and is approved for Class 1, Div 2
Zone 2 locations. Choose the IEC version where a standard AC power cord is used and the cold limit of -20 C is enough.
