4XB7A70005 (feature code BG06) is the ThinkSystem 2.5-inch Nytro 3732 800GB Performance SAS 12Gb hot-swap SSD. The Nytro 3732 series is a performance SSD line for write-intensive workloads, built on Seagate 3D eTLC flash with a 12 Gbps SAS interface, and it is a non-SED model: only the separate 800GB part 4XB7A70007 in the series adds self-encryption.
The 800GB capacity reaches 180,000 random read IOPS and 200,000 random write IOPS with 4 KB blocks, plus 1,100 MBps sequential read and 1,000 MBps sequential write with 128 KB blocks. Random latency is 115 µs for reads and 25 µs for writes. Typical power is 9.3 W reading and 7.7 W writing.
Endurance is 10 drive writes per day over 5 years, with 14,600 TB total bytes written and an MTBF of 2,500,000 hours. Data reliability is better than 1 unrecoverable error in 10^17 bits read. The drive supports power-loss data protection without a supercapacitor, AES 256-bit encryption, up to 32 initiators with a command queue depth of 128, and S.M.A.R.T. reporting, and it complies with the SAS-3 interface standard.
