Lenovo sells the 800GB SATA 2.5" MLC G3HS Enterprise Value SSD as option 00AJ410, feature code A57A, with SBB 00AJ412.
This is the largest drive in the Micron M500DC-based Enterprise Value family. Lenovo gives it 1.9 PB total bytes written, 65,000 read and 24,000 write IOPS, 425 MBps read and 375 MBps write sequential and 6.3 W typical power over 6 Gbps SATA.
Lenovo explains endurance with the 480GB model: to last five years within 1.9 PB, writes should stay under about 1,040 GB a day. With the same 1.9 PB rating, the 800GB drive has more headroom per gigabyte stored.
Supported systems listed by Lenovo: x3500 M5, x3550 M5 (5463 and 8869), x3650 M5 (5462 and 8871), x3850 X6/x3950 X6 (3837 and 6241), NeXtScale nx360 M5, Flex System x240 M5 and x280/x480/x880 X6. The x3550 M5 (8869) guide allows 12 and the x3650 M5 (8871) guide 28.
Fit check: G3HS tray. 00AJ400 is the 240GB drive from the same family; 00AJ186 is the S3500 800GB, an older Enterprise Value drive at the same capacity.
