Dell part FCHXF is a 4TB 3.5-inch 7,200 rpm SAS hard drive, self-encrypting (SED) built on the Seagate ST4000NM0135. Dell's PowerVault MD34XX/38XX support matrix lists it with model ST4000NM0135, capacity 4TB, speed 7.2K, SED Yes and firmware DSF2.
Seagate's Enterprise Capacity 3.5 HDD v5 SAS product manual lists the ST4000NM0135 as a self-encrypting FIPS 140-2 model with 512-native sectors, SAS link rates of 12, 6 and 3Gb/s and a 128MB buffer.
Fit check: compare the model and firmware on your installed drives with ST4000NM0135 and DSF2, and check that the Dell part number on the label appears in Dell's matrix for your array.
Encryption is built in on this 4TB drive, so a non-SED array needs a different part such as XXPPV or X164K; Dell PowerEdge Server Hard Drives (SAS, NL-SAS) lists the full range.
