Lenovo lists 4XB7A13622 (feature code B49B) as the ThinkSystem 2.5-inch Intel S4510 1.92TB Entry SATA 6Gb hot-swap SSD. It uses 64-layer Intel 3D NAND TLC flash behind a 6 Gbps SATA interface, and Lenovo positions the S4510 for read-intensive work such as boot, web serving, lower data rate operational databases and analytics.
At 1.92TB Lenovo rates this drive at 97,000 random read IOPS and 35,500 random write IOPS with 4 KB blocks, plus 560 MBps sequential read and 510 MBps sequential write. Random read latency is 103 microseconds and random write latency is 54 microseconds. Endurance is 2.0 drive writes per day, equal to 7.1 PB written, and typical active-write power is 3.2 W.
The same 2.5-inch hot-swap S4510 line also includes 4XB7A10249 (960GB, B49A) and 4XB7A13623 (3.84TB, B49C). Lenovo credits the series with end-to-end data path protection, enhanced power loss data protection and thermal throttling, and gives the drive an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours.
