Lenovo lists 4XB7A17127 (feature code BA4U) as the ThinkSystem 2.5-inch S4620 1.92TB Mixed Use SATA 6Gb hot-swap SSD. The S4620 series is Lenovo's mixed read-write SATA drive with endurance up to 5 drive writes per day, aimed at cache in transactional applications and high-speed storage for enterprise databases, and Lenovo says it improves endurance over the earlier Intel S4610.
The 1.92TB drive is rated for 4.0 drive writes per day, or 14.0 PB written. Lenovo quotes 91,000 random read IOPS and 53,000 random write IOPS with 4 KB blocks, 550 MBps sequential read and 510 MBps sequential write, and sequential latencies of 37 microseconds for reads and 38 for writes. Random read latency is 104 microseconds and random write latency is 47 microseconds, and the MTBF is 2,000,000 hours.
The S4620 range runs from 480GB to 3.84TB. The 3.84TB model reaches 5.0 drive writes per day and 35.1 PB written, while the 480GB model is rated at 4.7 drive writes per day.
