Feature code BKUK (option 4XB7A74955) is the Lenovo ThinkSystem DE Series 3.84TB 1DWD 2.5-inch SSD in the 2U24 carrier: a drive for the 24-bay small-form-factor enclosures of Lenovo's DE Series storage, rated at one drive write per day. It is a storage-array drive, not a server drive, and Lenovo lists it separately from ThinkSystem server SSDs.
Lenovo Press lists it for the DE4200H Hybrid SAS 2U24, the DE4000H 2U24 (up to 24 per enclosure), the DE2000H 2U24 and the DE240S 2U24 SFF expansion enclosure. Lenovo states that all DE Series drives are dual-port and hot-swappable, and that drives of the same form factor can be intermixed within an enclosure.
Its closest siblings are the 1.92TB 1DWD SSD 4XB7A74951 (BKUT), the FIPS self-encrypting 3.84TB SSD 4XB7A88469 (BWCJ) and the 7.68TB 1DWD SSD 4XB7A14176 (B4RY). This drive is not self-encrypting, so it cannot replace a FIPS drive in an encrypted pool. Lenovo Press lists the drive as current.
The DE4200H guide notes that the maximum number of SSDs in a supported configuration is 24. To confirm fit, check the array model on the enclosure label (DE2000H, DE4000H, DE4200H or DE240S, 2U24 version) and check whether the existing pool uses FIPS drives before ordering a replacement.
