QSFP-100G-AOC10M is the 10 meter 100GBASE QSFP active optical cable. The cables link QSFP-100G ports within racks and across racks. As an active optical cable it is a single assembly with the optics in the ends, so it replaces a pair of transceivers plus the fibre between them.
Power draw is 3.5 W per end. The family starts at the 1 m QSFP-100G-AOC1M, and each length is its own part number. Which switches, routers and line cards accept the cable depends on the host platform, so check the port type and software release before ordering.
Because the cable has fixed ends and cannot be cut or spliced, choose the length from the measured path between the two ports. Where the run is longer than 10 m, or when separate fibre is wanted, a pluggable QSFP28 optic such as the QSFP-100G-LR4-S is the alternative, and more are in the Cisco modules range.
