The MA-SFP-1GB-LX10 is a Meraki gigabit SFP optic for 1000BASE-LX10 links. It transmits at 1310 nm over single-mode fibre, OS1 or OS2 with a 9 micron core and 125 micron cladding, and the reach is 10 km. The matching fibre jacket colour is yellow.
The MA-SFP-1GB-LX10 can also be run over multimode fibre when it is paired with an LC mode conditioning cable. On multimode the reach drops to 550 m, so an existing multimode run can be reused as long as it stays inside that distance.
Meraki supports the MA-SFP-1GB-LX10 in the MS120 and MS125 switches, the MS130 through MS355 range, the MS390 and Catalyst C9300 series, the MS410 and MS425, and the MX75 through MX600 security appliances. The far end of the link needs a compatible 1000BASE-LX10 optic.
