SPA-1XOC12-ATM is the Cisco 1-port OC-12c/STM-4c ATM shared port adapter. It has one port and takes an SFP optics module. It works in Catalyst 6500 Series switches and Cisco 7600 Series routers, in the SIPs that support edge services such as IPv4, IPv6 and MPLS forwarding.
Supported OC-12 SFPs are the SFP-OC12-MM (multimode short reach, up to 500 m), SFP-OC12-SR (single-mode short reach, up to 2 km), SFP-OC12-IR1 (single-mode intermediate reach, up to 15 km or 9 miles) and SFP-OC12-LR1 and LR-2 (long reach).
For ATM, the ATM SPA family supports CBR, VBR-nrt, VBR-rt, UBR and UBR+ service classes, up to 16,000 virtual circuits subject to overall configuration limits, PVCs and SVCs, F4 and F5 OAM cells, ILMI 1.0, ATM over MPLS, per-VC and per-VP traffic shaping and UNI 3.0, 3.1 and 4.0.
Maximum power is 25.1 W without optics, and the ATM SPA family is 1.56 inches high (double-height), 6.75 inches wide and 7.28 inches deep, at 1.27 lb (0.57 kg). More adapters and modules are in the Cisco modules category.
