This is the ThinkSystem M.2 5400 PRO 480GB Read Intensive SATA 6Gb non-hot-swap SSD, Lenovo feature code BQ1Y (option 4XB7A82287). Lenovo Press identifies the drive as the Micron 5400 PRO, maker part MTFDDAV480TGA-1BC16ABLA, an M.2 2280 module 3.9 mm thick. It supports TCG Enterprise self-encryption.
Lenovo gives it 1.5 drive writes per day (1,324 TB written), 95,000 random read and 37,000 random write IOPS (4 KB), 540 MBps read and 520 MBps write sequential. M.2 drives in ThinkSystem servers sit on an M.2 adapter rather than in a front drive bay and are typically used as boot drives.
Lenovo lists it for a broad range of servers: first-generation ThinkSystem (SR630, SR650, SR530, SR550, SR570, SR590, ST550, SR850, SR860, SR950, SD530, SN550, SN850), V2 servers (SR630 V2, SR650 V2, SR670 V2, SR860 V2, ST650 V2, SD630 V2, SD650 V2, SN550 V2), the SR635 and SR655, and the entry ST50 V3, ST250 V3 and SR250 V3. The M.2 adapters guide records it being added on Aug 23, 2022 with its 240GB and 960GB siblings, 4XB7A82286 (BQ1Z) and 4XB7A82288 (BQ20).
To confirm fit, check that the server's M.2 adapter is a SATA type listed in Lenovo's M.2 adapter guide and that the server is on the list above.
