C1101-4P is the entry model of the Cisco 1000 Series integrated services routers, with four integrated Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and one Gigabit Ethernet WAN port. It has a micro-USB console port and one Type A USB 3.0 port, and no DSL, LTE, 5G or Wi-Fi.
Cisco gives fixed 4 GB flash. Maximum encrypted throughput on a single tunnel is 475 Mbps with IMIX traffic. In SD-WAN mode, IPsec throughput at 512 bytes is up to 450 Mbps, or up to 400 Mbps with IPsec, QoS, DPI and Flexible NetFlow, with an overlay tunnel scale of 200. In autonomous mode, IPv4 forwarding is up to 1600 Mbps and IPsec up to 500 Mbps, with 100 IPsec SVTI tunnels, 100K NAT sessions and 1K VRFs.
Maximum power consumption is 17.3 W, excluding loss in the external supply, which takes 100 to 240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz. The unit measures 1.10 x 7.50 x 6.00 in and weighs 1.89 lb (0.86 kg), the smallest form factor in the 1101 family. Operating temperature is 0 to 45 C at sea level.
Minimum software is Cisco IOS XE 16.8.1, or XE SD-WAN 16.10.1.
The C1101-4PLTEP adds a pluggable module slot for LTE or 5G, but it is larger at 1.73 x 9.75 x 6.6 in, heavier at 3.34 lb, and draws up to 21.8 W.
Related routers are in the Cisco routers category, such as the larger C1111-4P with dual GE WAN.
