ICX6430-C12 is the Brocade ICX 6430-C12 12-port gigabit compact switch. It is a fanless 12-port 1 GbE compact switch with 2 x 100 Mbps/1 GbE SFP and 2 x 100 Mbps/1 GbE copper uplinks. The twelve downlink ports are 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 and the uplinks add two more RJ-45 ports and two SFP ports.
The switch measures 1.7 in high, 10.6 in wide and 8.4 in deep (4.34 x 26.92 x 21.33 cm) and 4 lb (1.81 kg). It runs the Layer 2 base software, with a switching capacity of 32 Gbps and a forwarding capacity of 24 Mpps.
An internal 100 W AC supply powers the switch and PoE, with a PoE and PoE+ budget of 68 W. The input is 100 to 240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz with a maximum current of 1.8 A at 100 V, and the AC cord is rated 10 A. Idle consumption is 10 W and heat dissipation without a PoE load is 62 BTU/hr. MTBF at 25 C is 1,124,442 hours.
Stacking is not supported on this model, while 100Base-FX is supported on its SFP ports. The operating range is 0 to 45 C and storage is -40 to 70 C, with operating humidity of 5 to 95 percent non-condensing.
