ISR4461/K9 is the Cisco 4461 Integrated Services Router. Cisco gives it aggregate throughput of 1.5 Gbps by default, 3 Gbps with the performance licence, and more than 7 Gbps CEF-only with the boost licence.
Onboard it has four 10/100/1000 ports and two 10 Gbps ports, with four RJ-45 and four SFP connectors. For modules it has three NIM slots, three enhanced service-module slots (two of them double-wide) and one onboard ISC slot. All I/O modules support online insertion and removal.
Control and services plane DRAM is 8 GB by default and expands to 32 GB, and flash is 8 GB by default and expands to 32 GB. There are two external USB 2.0 type A slots and USB mini-B, RJ-45 serial and RJ-45 auxiliary console ports.
Internal AC, DC and PoE power supplies are available, with redundancy. The AC supply is rated at 1000 W maximum without PoE and the DC supply at 437 W, while the PoE supply reaches 1000 W with PoE redundancy or 1450 W with PoE boost. Endpoint PoE is up to 500 W with redundancy or 950 W with boost.
The chassis is 3 RU and measures 3.5 x 17.25 x 18.5 in (88.9 x 438.15 x 469.9 mm).
