C1121-8PLTEP is the 8-port, cellular-ready model in the Cisco 1100 Series Integrated Services Routers. Cisco gives it 8 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and 2 Gigabit Ethernet WAN ports, one copper and one combination copper/SFP, plus a pluggable cellular module slot that takes LTE and 5G modules.
Cisco lists C1121-8PLTEP as FirstNet certified when it is fitted with the CAT18 cellular module P-LTEAP18-GL. Which bands the router uses depends on the module that is installed.
Cisco rates the C112x(X)-8PLTEP maximum power consumption at 24.6 W, not counting the loss in the external supply. The external supply takes 100 to 240 VAC and delivers 12 VDC at up to 66 W. The router is 1.65 x 10.80 x 7.85 in (H x W x D) and weighs 3.74 lb (1.70 kg). Operating range is 0 to 40 C at sea level, derated by 1 C per 1,000 ft above 40 C up to 10,000 ft, and non-operating range is -40 to 70 C.
The minimum SD-WAN software version Cisco gives for the C112x(X)-8PLTEP is 17.2.1. Cisco also offers C1121X-8PLTEP, whose X denotes 8 GB of DRAM and 8 GB of flash for application hosting, and C1121-8PLTEPW, which adds an embedded 802.11ac access point.
