ASR1000-6TGE is the Cisco ASR 1000 Series Fixed Ethernet Line Card with six 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, ordered under the name Cisco ASR 1000 Fixed Ethernet Line Card, 6x10GE. It is capable of 40 Gbps full-duplex traffic forwarding and handles Layer 2, Layer 3, IP, IPv6 and MPLS packets with ingress and egress QoS and egress queuing.
The card takes the slot of a SPA interface processor, since it is not compatible with SPAs. Cisco lists the ASR1004, ASR1006, ASR1006-X, ASR1009-X and ASR1013 chassis, with Route Processors 2 and 3 and Embedded Services Processors. On an ASR1013 with the ASR1000-ESP40, up to four of these cards fit. The minimum software is IOS XE 3.12.
The other fixed Ethernet line card in the same family is the ASR1000-2T+20X1GE, with two 10 Gigabit and twenty 1 Gigabit Ethernet ports, the same 40 Gbps forwarding capability and a minimum of IOS XE 3.10.
