HP's 6600 Switch Series QuickSpecs lists the J9264A HP 6600-24G-4XG Switch with 20 autosensing 10/100/1000 ports, four dual-personality ports (RJ-45 10/100/1000 or open mini-GBIC slot), four SFP+ 10-GbE ports running full duplex only, and an RS-232C DB-9 console port.
The switch has two power supply slots and ships with one J9269A HP 6600 Switch Power Supply and one J9271A fan tray; the tray supports N+N fans. PartSurfer describes the J9269A as a 1200 W AC supply (800 W at 100 VAC) that installs as primary or redundant, and the J9271A as four dual-rotor fans whose airflow can be reversed.
HP rates routing/switching capacity at 101.8 Gbps on a 105.6 Gbps fabric and throughput up to 75.7 million pps, with 10 Gbps latency under 2.4 µs, 64000 MAC entries and 10000 routes. Memory is 256 MB DDR SDRAM with a 36 MB QDR packet buffer. The 1U unit is 17.42 x 21.5 x 1.7 in and 17.2 lb; idle power is 167.6 W and maximum 204.3 W. It includes 2-post telco mounting hardware, and the J9469A 6600 Series Rack Kit is required for a 4-post rack. Operating temperature is 5 to 40°C.
