The JE005A is the HP 1910-16G Switch, listed in PartSurfer also as the HP V1910-16G (3CRBSG2093). HPE's 1910 QuickSpecs gives 16 RJ-45 auto-negotiating 10/100/1000 ports, four SFP 1000 Mbps ports and one RJ-45 console port for access to a limited CLI, supporting up to 16 autosensing 10/100/1000 ports plus four 1000BASE-X SFP ports.
It runs on an ARM processor at 333 MHz with 128 MB flash, 128 MB RAM and a 512 KB packet buffer. HPE rates routing/switching capacity at 40 Gbps and throughput up to 29.8 million pps, with latency under 5 µs, an 8192-entry MAC table and 32 routing entries. The 1U case is 17.4 x 6.3 x 1.7 in and 6.8 lb (3.08 kg), with a 25.1 W maximum power rating on 100-240 VAC. Management is through IMC, a web browser, SNMP and a limited CLI.
HP announced end of sale for the 1910 gigabit series on February 12, 2015, with the JE005A ending May 31, 2015 or while supplies last, and named the JG923A HP 1920-16G Switch as its replacement.
