CISCO3825 is the Cisco 3825 Integrated Services Router, a 2RU modular router. Cisco gives it 2 fixed 10/100/1000 LAN ports and 1 fixed SFP port. For modules there are 4 HWIC slots, which also accept VICs, VWICs and WICs; up to 2 network modules, NMEs or NME-Xs; 2 AIM slots; and 4 PVDM slots for PVDM2s.
Default memory is 256 MB of DDR SDRAM with ECC, expandable to 1 GB, and the Compact Flash is 64 MB by default and up to 256 MB. It has one console port and one auxiliary port, each up to 115.2 kbps.
The AC supply takes 100 to 240 VAC auto-ranging at 47 to 63 Hz and the DC supply takes 24 to 60 VDC auto-ranging. Output is 210 W for the system, and the AC-IP supply adds 360 W for IP phones. AC power dissipation is 300 W (1025 BTU/hr) without IP phone support and 370 W (1262 BTU/hr) for the system with it; DC dissipation is 325 W (1100 BTU/hr). Redundant power is external, using the Cisco RPS 675.
The chassis measures 3.5 x 17.1 x 14.7 in and weighs at least 23 lb.
Parts for the neighbouring 3800 model include the PWR-3845-AC power supply; more routers are in Cisco routers.
