J9087A is the HP 2610-24-PoE Switch in HP's retired 2610 QuickSpecs: 24 autosensing 10/100 ports, all IEEE 802.3af PoE, plus two 10/100/1000BASE-T ports and two open mini-GBIC (SFP) slots.
HP describes the series as access-layer switches with Layer 2 plus static IP routing, providing up to 15.4 W of PoE per port.
Its internal supply provides 406 W of PoE power, and HP notes that an optional external power supply can supplement it and give redundancy.
HP rates routing/switching capacity at 12.8 Gbps and throughput at up to 9.5 million pps, with latency under 2.9 µs at 1000 Mb.
It uses a MIPS processor at 300 MHz with 16 MB flash, 128 MB SDRAM and a 1 MB packet buffer, and holds 8,000 routing table entries.
The 1U chassis is 12.5 in. deep and weighs 15.05 lb (6.83 kg) fully loaded; maximum power rating is 77 W without PoE and 527 W with PoE.
HP requires mini-GBICs of revision B or later (part numbers ending in B or later, such as J4858B or J4859C) in the SFP slots.
