JE069A HP 5120-48G EI Switch with 2 Interface Slots, 48 Gigabit

The JE069A is the HP 5120-48G EI Switch with 2 Interface Slots: 48 RJ-45 10/100/1000 ports, four dual-personality ports (copper or SFP), two expansion slots and an RJ-45 serial console. The slots take up to two modules, such as 10GbE XFP, SFP+, 10GBASE-T, GbE SFP or local-connect CX4. HP rates switching capacity at 192 Gbps and throughput at 142.9 million packets per second, with 128 MB SDRAM, a 4 MB packet buffer and 16 MB flash.

Local CX4 stacking runs at 12 Gb/s per connection, up to 96 Gb/s in total full duplex; the JD360B is the local-connect CX4 module HP lists. The unit is 1U, 17.32 x 11.81 x 1.72 in and 11.02 lb, with an internal power supply on 100-240 VAC. Idle power is 55 W and maximum 145 W. The RPS 800 (JD183A, 800 W, 1U) is supported as an external redundant supply.

HP's end-of-sale notice lists the JE069A with an end-of-sale date of September 30, 2015 and points to the 5130 EI series (for example JG934A 5130-48G-4SFP+ EI) without mapping each SKU. The version without slots is the JE067A; the 24-port version is the JE068A.
