N7K-F348XP-25 is the Cisco Nexus 7000 F3-Series 48-port 1 and 10 Gigabit Ethernet module. The 48 ports take SFP and SFP+ optics, and ports 41 to 48 support MACsec. Each port has four ingress and four egress queues, and the module carries 72 MB of virtual output queue buffer.
It forwards Layer 2 and Layer 3 traffic for IPv4 and IPv6 at 720 mpps and moves up to 480 Gbps of data. Jumbo frames up to 9216 bytes are supported for bridged and routed packets. Table capacity is 64,000 MAC entries, 64,000 IPv4 entries, 32,000 IPv6 entries, 64,000 adjacency entries and 16,000 ACLs, with 4,096 VLANs per VDC.
The module takes one I/O slot in a Nexus 7000 4-, 9-, 10- or 18-slot chassis and needs an N7K-SUP2 or N7K-SUP2E supervisor with NX-OS 6.2.12 or later. SFP and SFP+ transceivers are separate parts. It measures 1.733 x 15.3 x 21.9 in (4.4 x 38.9 x 55.6 cm) and weighs 15 lb (6.8 kg).
Features include FabricPath, Nexus 2000 FEX support, wire-rate VXLAN and LISP, OTV, VPLS and MPLS, VDCs, CoPP, TrustSec SGT handling, and integrated FCoE with the N7K-FCOE-F348XP licence.
