Lenovo ThinkSystem M.2 7450 PRO 960GB Read Intensive NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 NHS SSD, 4XB7A13999

4XB7A13999 is the ThinkSystem M.2 7450 PRO 960GB Read Intensive NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 non-hot-swap SSD, Lenovo feature code BKSR. It is built on the Micron 7450 PRO family (supplier model MTFDKBA960TFR-1BC15ABYY) with Micron 176-layer 3D TLC NAND, in the M.2 2280 form factor of 22 x 80 mm. The drive is self-encrypting and compliant with TCG Opal 2.01.

At 960 GB, endurance is 1.0 drive writes per day over 5 years, or 1700 TB written, with an uncorrectable bit error rate below 1 in 10^17 bits read and an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours. Random 4 KB performance is 520,000 read IOPS and 82,000 write IOPS, and 128 KB sequential transfers reach 5000 MBps read and 1400 MBps write. Random latency is 80 microseconds for reads and 15 microseconds for writes, and typical power draw is 7.0 W reading and 5.7 W writing.

Each NVMe drive has a direct PCIe 4.0 x4 connection. The drive includes power-loss protection, adaptive thermal monitoring, end-to-end data protection and S.M.A.R.T. support, together with Secure Boot, key-based firmware update validation and RSA key delegation. The heatsink version of the same 960GB drive is 4XB7A82674 (feature BQUJ). The M.2 7450 PRO is also made in 480GB, 1.92TB and 3.84TB capacities, and the 1.92TB and larger drives use the longer M.2 22110 size.
