4XB7A17076 is the ThinkSystem 2.5" 5300 480GB Entry SATA 6Gb Hot Swap SSD, Lenovo feature code B8JM. It uses Micron 96-layer 3D TLC NAND flash behind a 6 Gbps SATA interface and has no moving parts. Lenovo positions the 5300 Entry series for read-intensive applications, and the series endurance runs from 0.6 to 1.5 drive writes per day for 5 years.
The 480 GB drive is at the top of that range with 1.5 drive writes per day, or 1324 TB written. The uncorrectable bit error rate is below 1 in 10^17 bits read and the MTTF is 3,000,000 hours. Random 4 KB performance is 85,000 read IOPS and 36,000 write IOPS, while 128 KB sequential transfers reach 540 MBps read and 410 MBps write. Sequential latency is 175 microseconds for reads and 100 microseconds for writes, and the drive carries no SED encryption.
