4XB7A17084 is the ThinkSystem 3.5" 5300 1.92TB Entry SATA 6Gb Hot Swap SSD, Lenovo feature code B8HZ. The 5300 Entry SATA drives use Micron 96-layer 3D TLC NAND flash with a 6 Gbps SATA interface, and they are aimed at read-intensive jobs such as boot, web servers, lower data rate operational databases and analytics. The 5300 is the follow-on to the 5200, with the same controller, firmware, interface and features and a newer 96-layer NAND medium in place of 64-layer.
The 1.92 TB drive has an endurance of 1.5 drive writes per day, which is 5256 TB written, with an uncorrectable bit error rate below 1 in 10^17 bits read and an MTTF of 3,000,000 hours. Random 4 KB performance is 95,000 read IOPS and 30,000 write IOPS. Sequential 128 KB transfers reach 540 MBps read and 520 MBps write, with sequential latency of 175 microseconds for reads and 300 microseconds for writes. The drive has no SED encryption, and non-operating shock is 1,500 G at 0.5 ms.
This part number is the 3.5-inch hot-swap version of the drive. The same capacity in 2.5-inch form is 4XB7A17078 (B8J5), and the 3.5-inch range continues with the 3.84TB 4XB7A17085 (B8HQ) and the 7.68TB 4XB7A17086 (B8J3).
